Just found out that a great man has passed. I can't remember how many times I've listened to him on the radio- I grew to know that once I heard that voice, something worth listening to was going on. Would that I could do as much, and live a life as full as this man. Gonna give it my damndest. RIP, Mr. Schorr.   | ||

I remember, as a teenager, watching the CBS Evening News, and Daniel Schorr, at the top of his game, making mincemeat out of Richard Nixon!  | ||

on npr, listened to a old interview with him. had a audio clip of him on stage with frank zappa. that was different. Schorr & Zappa doing a number from porgy & bess. yeah, i'll miss his take on world events. | ||
