With the right gearing and the proper tailwind, 200 MPH is doable. Heck, with the right tailwind, you don't even need an engine. |

I think terminal free-fall velocity is under 200mph.So pushed out a cargo plane with R.A.T.O rocket motors helping it fall!! |

Only one I know of went 200+ was Aarons RR. My poor little turbo S-2 only got to 190+. No amount of re-gearing will get that xb anywhere near 200. Got to start with about 100 MORE hp and go from there. |

You're forgetting the tailwind. Gearing and a 300 MPH tailwind will do the job. |

Ummmm, hi…I saw your ad on Craigslist for the Buell you have for sale and just wanted to correct a little detail you have posted about it… Buells are amazing motorcycles, they handle and ride like no other bike (trust me I know, I have 2) HOWEVER, they have a top speed of 135-140mph MAX. No Buell will get even remotely close to 200mph except the new 1125’s which are worth about 3 times as much as your bike and still only top out at around 170mph. Just thought I’d drop you some quick facts so you can edit your ad so it isn’t deceiving to any potential buyers. Thanks, and have a good afternoon! "...Just thought I’d drop you some quick facts so you can edit your ad so it isn’t deceiving to any potential buyers. ..." you should have said: "...Just thought I’d drop you some quick facts so you can edit your ad so it isn't scaring away any potential buyers that think you are a total dumb*ss, or a fraud; not sure which would be worse..." doug s. |
