Looking through my 2003 Homecoming photos... brings back some good memories... this was my first Homecoming. It was hot as hell that day and humid too! But we got to see the Buell farm. What a treat that was! I heard it is owned by the MoFo now and off limits? What a shame!

That wasn't Homecoming, that was the 20th anniversary. The MoFo didn't believe NOR approve that it was Buell's 20th. So we said F-U and had our own. After that they brought back HC and boy were they sure on the bandwagon for the 25th |

They had three sets of I bolts on the ceiling... the motors started on the one side... hung up on webbing... when it was time for the next person to work on one... they set it up on the next pair of I bolts... see, even back then EB was quite innovative... just correct me if I am wrong, Court |

Good thing HD (spit) does not have it. We would never see it again. It would probably meet the same fate as the original HD (spit) shed. |

I was hoping the farm might be part of Homecoming 2011 also. Us relatively new Buellers haven't experienced it besides video. |

Hell, I have been to every Homecoming since '98 and I didn't even know about the farm tour till way after. Might be because I wasn't on here till '05?? I have been by there a bunch of times, but would love a chance to stand on the hallowed ground! |

Thanks Char.... But to be honest its the Buell community that is awesome. Without it,it wouldn't matter what the Lakebuellers,spidey',Rocketsprinks,BadS1's and many other's do. It just couldn't be done without all of you's. Trust me.... 10 years of involvement in some manner, shape or form. This is a tight nit group ..... nothing can't be done. |

I can see the place from my house,I know Harley isn't involved, but the spaceships coming and going all nite drive us all crazy..I posted a couple of times before homecoming to show you all the coolest and mostly unknown spots and roads in the area, but nobody took me up on it.I should post a google map(aerial) of his current house and barn property, but I kinda really respect Eric's privacy and may bump into him at the local corn stand. |
