Thanks for Flashlight , Ferrari. The old flashlight I was using didn't activate the LED. That sucker is some kind of bright. Mike - Welcome to the club. The camera is fantastic especially with the flash. I use Noisewear plug in in Photoshop to get rid of the plentiful noise at low light. |

Revision: After I downloaded Flashlight, it became apparent that the app was overly complicated, and took rather a long time to actually turn on the led. After a bit of research, I downloaded "LED Flashlight HD by Terminal Eleven LLC. A very simple and elegant app that simply turns on the led with a tap of the screen.

There is a "Flashlight" app that you can get for 99 cents that allows you to enable tethering and bypass ATT's ridiculous $20 a month fee. |

<sarcasm> Wow, apple must really be vetting those apps before they're allowed to be in the app store. </sarcasm> |

Yea thats the thing that has many of us wondering, if they let that slip by, how easy would it be to sneak in a Trojan Horse? Granted other phones are more vulnerable due to not being forced to get apps from a pre-screened market, it still makes you wonder. (Sorry for the threadjack, I am stealing ideas from here and finding Windows equivalent apps for my phone) |

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned yet, Trapster. http://www.trapster.com/ It is available for most platforms, and gives you a map letting know know where the police often setup speed traps and locations of red light cameras. It is a must have Obligiatory Iphone screenshot And my phone (Message edited by froggy on July 23, 2010) |

MCN Ride Logger not in App store any longer but maps out your ride shows your acceleration braking points and so on. Jailbroken guys can still get it and windows based phones can use it as well. |

Went fishing by the light of the moon at the Race last night.
The iPhone was an integral part of the trip, providing great navigation with the Navionics Marine GPS, the LED flash light, and of course the flash camera to record the results. The Navionics app was much easier to use than the on board Garmin, and very accurate. In addition, it has a very useful current predictor.
Also fielded one or two short phone calls. Don't leave home without one! PS: I always keep it in a little baggie when out on the water. |

Btw, life church.tv Bible is great if you're multilingual, or like to read two translations simultaneously. I keep Espaņol Moderno and KJV on mine. I have the Youversion for NIV since the first mentioned doesn't have NIV at this time. |
