First let me say that I am not usually a 'sparkle' kinda gal. I don't own anything with sequins or glitter on it. I don't (usually)wear pink.
While we were on holiday I succumbed and bought a new Buell singlet with a glittered shield on the front. Yes-it had glitter, but black and white=okay.
I have since realised my theory, as the first wash resulted in the whole glittered shield cracking to pieces and starting to fall off!!!!
You can't get any of the new logo stuff here, and I don't think I'm going to bother sending it back, but disappointed.
Has anyone else had this happen with the new gear? Ladies?

Ann said she was sorely disappointed with the quality of the Buell clothing.
Made in China was her first gripe, then how it was cut, then the cost...

Here's ya some sparkles ; )

My kids are loaded up on sparkly stuff. The wife has to wash it on a gentle cycle and inside out. It seems to work pretty well but we still occasionally get the loose diamond or ruby in the bottom of the dryer.

I washed it carefully Kyrocket, but it was the actual patch that came to pieces. It was kind of vinyl-ish stuff with glitter embedded into it.
No twilight here Spidey, those vamps are girlies!

I hate sparkles.

Women use them to leave their mark on any guy they brush up against in a club....

then, when you get home, it's "WHO THE F*CK WERE YOU RUBBING ON THAT HAD SPARKLES ON!~???!?"

Sorry about the Buell stuff falling apart, but I saw the word "sparkles" and had to rant.

According to a hair stylist friend, "sparkles" is a code word in hair salons for "lice."

Down with sparkles, indeed.

LOL!! I had a buddy who always had a gimmick to help him mack on the females in the clubs, back in the day this was "new" and worked for him... rest his soul, he's passed on now...

Vamp- got anyone who can "recondition" that garment? A hobby store should have all the junk you'd need to re-do that piece. Shame on HD marketing for such crap...

Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your shirt. I have been ranting to Sleez about how I can't seem to find girl style Buell shirts that don't have sparkles on them (because honestly what kind of motorcycle chick would be caught dead in sparkles) after hearing this I'm glad I didn't just break down and buy some. I've always got my eyes open for good stuff if I see any I'll let you know Vamp.
Maybe all us Buell chicks should get "Down with Sparkles!" shirts.

And Spiderman I can't help but notice that you had to look even though you thought this was a thread about twilight lol.

Well when you watch the news and read things like the internet, you tend to pick up on things...

Thanks Ladysleez, that would be great. I know it's getting harder to come by now. The singlet was the only thing I got that glittered.
Scored a nice warm hoody too though, so not too worried.
These weren't the kind of sparkles that rubbed off, they were IN the vinyl bit.
Hhhmmm down with sparkles shirts....; )
