Start at 1:45 for first malfunction, then watch the rest. We were right underneath target area. I saw it coming, grabbed my wife and hit the floor. Couldn't shoot back, so I took cover. Thankfully it exploded about 10 feet in the air. Someone could have been really f-ed up. No major injuries thankfully.
I don't know how they was allowed to shoot that show. The safe zone is beyond "the shell diameter, times 100 feet". So a six inch shell would require the spectators to be over 600 feet away.WTF???
HOLY CRAP!!! that's about the most colorful way to wreck a persons day! i thought it was bad when we were getting rained on by embers from the show here on Schofield Barracks.
