Dude, Spidey is right on. I just did not want to be the first to say it. I was passing through China town this past weekend. Man, my wife and I did not think we were going to make it through. |

There are worse places to have in the neighborhood . . . always fun to tell someone you live in New York City and then have them see these . . . .

There's a town called Snug in Tasmania. It smells like Eucalyptus Trees and clay and a sea mist, and the breeze carries the feint sound of Banjos. |

Smelliest place in NZ is Rotorua. Quite famous for it. The local thermal springs and Geysers pump millions of m3 of rotten egg gas into the atmosphere all around the town. It has a permanent pong. |

Best on the South Island is in the Beech Forests. Clean air.

The area near the former Fresh Kills landfill in Staten Island is no place for the faint-hearted, and any New Yorker who finds themselves in the vicinity doesn't loiter for long. "It smells like a dirty pirate hooker,"

Best local smell, the village Boulangerie early in the morning. Worst local smell, my neighbour's farm when he's clearing out the pig shed. (closely followed by my toilet after a night on the local cider!) |
