After watching a new story today on frivolous lawsuits I was wondering about some of your thoughts on the most outrageous things you have found for mfg. companys of motorcycles to try and keep away from this. Disclaimers if you will. One I remember hearing about is Hondas gas tank sticker from the 70's sometime, roadbikes, that said something like "do not exit the motorcycle while operating at speed" or something like that. Anybody ever hear about that one of maybe have a picture of it? Lets hear from you with your findings and thoughts. Sure seems like many people do not want to accept personal responsibility for anything they do in their lives. Bob |

Seems every manual I have says something to the effect of: "Vehicle may tip over stopped if the sidestand isn't used." |

I loved my Moto Guzzi owners manual. Always wear a helmet! Then they would have little diagrams enclosed in circles that have the line thru them with the explanation of "NO" under them. |

its not motorcycle related but its still disclaimer related, I have a manual for a wireless router with built in ADSL modem that says in the disclamier section "Do not use your phone to dial 911 in the vicinity of a gas leak." |

Need a good clear picture of the do not insert genitalia stick, it may have been removed but you know the sticker is stored somewhere. |

Not exactly along the lines of the thread, but this is the warning label used on the frame of the late model tubers sent to Japan:
It always struck me as unique, 1313 |
