This is from a facebook friend of mine- Lesley Slenning. She is a photographer for the rockabilly sites and glam world. "On Oct 15th 2008 David Wayne Moss-Van Soest's DUI charge was reduced to negligent driving. On July 3rd 2010 at 11:49 pm he killed my beautiful sister and her long time boyfriend while they were riding their motorcycles." http://www.katu.com/news/local/97778804.html |

Should be elevated to Murder One rather than vehicular homicide. This act was the same as hanging an AK out the window and firing indiscriminately into a park full of people. |

This act was the same as hanging an AK out the window and firing indiscriminately into a park full of people. I agree... I can't wait for the day that the law looks at it the same way. |

did the cops botch the breath-aliser? Probably not. If you got the money for a good attorney this type of bull sh!t happens. We all remember "If the glove don't fit...". It pisses me off so much reading about this type of thing. |

Back in the 80's there were two years where more folks were killed in the US from alcohol related traffic accidents than the entire death total of US troops in the Viet Nam war. At one time Romania had the death penalty for 2nd offense of drinking and driving. I think we should consider the same.Just recently in my area a fellow that had 8 prior DWI convictions just killed an innocent person, A**H** had not had license for many years. If alcoholism is a disease it should be treated as TB and other contagious diseases were, quarantine till cured, and the disease model says it is never cured only in remisssion. Sorry now I'll get of the soap box. My condolescense to the family, and have strenght when he gets PBJ or some other minor trivil consequence for his murderous behavior. |

I try very hard not to hate people anymore and for the most part I am doing a very good job at it. but those that choose to drink and drive make my blood boil. there are few things that can still do that to me but drunk drivers are like an instant on switch for me. this guy didn't have a "fist mistake" (something I can understand to a point) either, guys like this make me wish they would bring back public executions. and in slow painful ways like the end of brave heart. instead of asking him to bow the crown I would tell him the hurting would stop when he brings the families loved ones back and eases their suffering. let his screams be an example to all those who choose to gamble with others lives. it could be bikers or anybody that he killed, one of your children, or one of your parents he gambled with every life that was near him on his drive, and he can never repay the debt. |
