Sorry, I've got pics but can't get to them right now. But the trade off couldn't have gone any better. Alex and Heather are great people (heck, he even brought Buell swag)and there was a little separation anxiety on Bella's part when they left but she's acclimated wonderfully. She is sitting at my feet taking a well deserved nap as I type this. A few of my aunt's friends stopped over and she acted as if she knew them all along, even the little kids didn't phase her. I believe she is going to be a wonderful dog. Well, gotta go, one of the kittens is being brave and sneaking up to take a sniff. Doesn't she know to let a sleeping dog lie? Or is it lay? Does it matter? |

Mike,
I figured she'd be a bit anxious after we left- we're probably the first people that have ever really paid any attention to her, and she's been under our watchful eye for the last month or so.
She's got a great home and a great new family- So glad you guys were able to make room in your home and open up your hearts for this little girl.
I give Heather all the credit, she's spent the most time with them...

This is a great story. Heather and Alex great job for taking them in. Is good to know that their are still some good people out there. And to the one's that have them now, "ENJOY". I hope they have a good life. |

SUCKAS!! Ya'll passed up a great pup! She (and we) are now home in Ky. She travels like a pro. She would take turns laying between my wife and I in the front seats and between two of the girls in the back seat. No accidents, did well at the rest areas and did well all the way home. I think someone at some point let her up on the couch because she seems to be right at home there but that's the only complaint. To be in three houses in two days she has done great. I swear we've got some pics and I'll post them as soon as I get them resized. |

So glad to hear the ride went well and she is adjusting well. We never left her up on the furniture but she did seem to make herself comfortable on the lawn furniture. She's got good taste, can ya blame her?
Looking forward to seeing pictures and so glad she has found a good home!

Sorry for the fuzzy phone pic but this is what I came home to today at lunch. I hope at some point she will get comfortable in her new home. Evidently the girls wore her out and she was napping, very heavily I might add.

The new extended family. This may even turn into this years Christmas card.
Bella with her first (from us) new chew toy. Notice she's on a leash and she's taken to it nicely. She's figured out if I have the leash she's going somewhere.

It's good to see that Bella is happy! My wife and I were willing to take Bella and Tyson if they hadn't found a new home in Sept when we return from Italy but glad to see that something worked out for her. |
