I can see the Hudson from my desk, but I have to stand up and look over my cubicle wall... |

These po'bastids are humping 60# + rucks. This trooper looked like Hammer , made me double-take. Of course, Hammer would never drag-ass like that....

Yeah I can see the Hudson From my window as well. (well have to look between a couple of the buildings in downtown albany, but I can see it, but it aint 1/2 as spectacular). and If I drive a couple miles north I can actually see it when it is an honest to goodness river (Not a tidal estuary .. LOL) |

I am up in Albany a few times a week. Cant miss us since the KC-10 is by far the biggest plane flying over your house and city for a few hours a day. |

You sure about this? KC10: L: 181 WS: 165 C5a L: 247 WS: 220-something. The C5As out of our local AFR @ Stewart hang over my house, and the pictured (OP) suite at West Point, with zeppelin-esque omnipresence. (Message edited by tramp on July 03, 2010) |

Albany's not big enough for C5 T&Gs. Bear in mind that SWF is a shuttle-ready TCA, hence the ANG AW's C5 hangars. "The Legends of Sleepy Hollow" |

Nah man the C-5 is just too ugly for Albany. |

That's why they hire 1%ers to stand guard at it's gear. |

C-5s dont require protection. They are broken from sunrise to sunset. |

(In Maxwell Smart voice) would you believe the photo is from a clandestine 'double-secret probation' op based on the original b-flick "The Losers"... The objective was to drop 1%ers into Afghanistan to manually stomp the Taliban. Unfortunately, it soon devolved into a snatch op to manually extradite Lindsay Lohan back to the US. Mission accomplished |
