At my parents' home, the drainage ditch along the road had crawdads and my brother would drop calcium carbide chunks in the holes and then stick a hose in, making acetylene. Then he would light it off and we would find crawdad chunks in the lawn.
I think we will have to work out some kind of signal system at my new place... my new landlord likes to shoot the gophers from his porch with his 22... might need a flag up in the yard or something when he is in action... I live below him... below the porch he likes to shoot from... but I am hoping I will talk him into getting the Rodenator... showed it to #2 at work... now he wants to get one for the Army there...
Yeah I have a friend who used to fry the tunnel rats in Nam... but he also got exposed to Agent Orange there too... probably killed him in the end... we lost touch a while ago... good to remember him tho...
Oh, and given the condition of the property we are on... there is no way they would ever use a Rodenator up there... no flames, sparks, matches or lighters allowed... you will get sh**-canned for that on first offense...
