Yesterday afternoon I heard a bike open up the throttle coming down my street, then a faint smashing sound. I didn't think he crashed, but as I walked passed the window I saw the guy in basketball shorts and a cut off tshirt limping away from his bike. Is it wrong that my first reaction was to laugh at this poor guy? I ran out and asked him if he was okay and gave him some rags for his road rash. He was pretty scraped up and bleeding. His friend was there within five minutes. Turns out it was his friends bike and he had been bugging him to ride it. His Timberlands were in the street. He wasn't even wearing a helmet(state law here). He came down the street from the far end of the picture and crashed right before the trash cans. He blamed it on sand, but there isn't any. I suspect he gave it too much throttle and went into a fishtail/tankslapper situation.

Your front yard is a mess. It would look that way. The side of the driveway you see is my neighbors yard. |

Stingers, or wannabe stingers, make their tanks like that so they are easier to balance on while sitting or standing on it. That's a poor bash job. I would have laughed maybe even let a LEO know what happened. |

You guys have no clue do you? He was just smashing the tank up for stunting purposes! The easy way to do it in one shot was to slam it on the road. Geezz....you people... |

Good thing he had those frame sliders on the swingarm. It kept the left pipe from pushing over into the pipe on the right side! HA! |

Obviously he didn't feel he needed a helmet, couldn't possibly hurt anything but the pavement I guess. |

that's kind of like self public humiliation, so no, it was not wrong to laugh at him, instead of him having to go through another situation like this, maybe he will be embarrassed enough not to do it again! |
