Chili is sleeping soundly between an extra fat rotty and a snoring lab, but it just isn't happening for me yet! The dogs have apparently missed us and my brain won't let me calm down! As soon as we hit the bed there were two pups snuggled up tight on there too. All the gear made it home safe, but the Buell bag burst an outside seam in transit...wonder why? Lol! So...for the final instalment of our adventure.... We couldn't leave the country without one more helping of your awesome smoke-a-licious ribs AND we tried fried okra!...
Mark put the sexy new red plastics on the stt...
There were a few tears with the goodbyes. It was sad to leave, but we did it...and so did half the stuff from America!!..
An 8 hour layover in L.A saw us waiting...
...and waiting...
until finally we left on time...
to get here to a smiling welcome. Happy to be off the plane...
And this is Nik. She made the journey with us through Badweb, all the time taking care of *home* for us...
It has been the best month ever. Now to unpack, story-tell, clean house and get on with life here. We can't thank everyone enough for all that was done for us on our trip. Words just don't seem to cut it. It sure would be nice if any of you would like to come over here and have an adventure of your own some time. We'll keep the coffee hot...just in case |

Happy trails indeed! So glad Ken was the gentleman and kindly let youn's ride his Uly for the jaunt back to Gary's- BTW, how was dinner that nite? Sounded like it was gonna be good. (I managed to stop at a White Castle on the way home...) Take care- if the GF wins the lottery and we first go visit the Dominican Republic, we'll head down there someday for a spell!! |

V made me this totally awesome handbag... all made by hand with recycled materials... she dragged it around for three weeks and gave it to me at homecoming... would look good over my shoulder riding the Piglet... what cannot the girl do?

Vamps and Chili - so glad you made it back home safe and sound. I'm sure the furkids are especially happy you're home! I wish we could have met you while you were here, but maybe next time. I've enjoyed watching your vacation through the pictures and write-ups. Badwebbers really know how to treat people and it looks like you guys got the royal treatment! Kristi |

Glad you made a safe and memorable trip, and I appreciate the time you spent here. Now that you are back home I'll put together a couple of snaps of the great project bike for you to see. Give the kids an extra months worth of love to make up for the time away. Cheers ! |

it looks like you guys got the royal treatment! And it certainly felt that way too! Give the kids an extra months worth of love to make up for the time away. I think they got pretty spoilt in our absence David. Ty looks a little chubbier than when we left (and he's not the only one ). They have not been short of attention since we arrived back though We both look forward to staying touch with you all, especially now we know who we're talking to! |

wow! What a truly excellent adventure! People here don't take the time to do what you 2 did. Hell! You've probably have seen more of this Country than most that live here! I am so jealous of the fact that we here in America don't,won't or can't take a month out of our own lives to actually LIVE life. It's not a cut on us, or a dig on you. Most here are "when I retire, I will......." Why the hell wait until you retire? Do it while you're young enough to enjoy it! You guys have truly inspired me to live life. It's the only one we've got! I'm glad you guys made it back home safe and sound. We are all better off having had the chance to meet you. I thank all the Buellers that traveled from a foreign Country to celebrate with us. BTW, I received the CD yesterday. It was instantly added to my I-Pod. Thank you! |

Thanks Rocket, It was inspiring for us to be a part of the 'Buell fever' that we don't get around these parts too much and meet all you wonderful people. We too have come away from the experience inspired to step outside the square we live in and live a little more. One of the many many things we learned was that it should never be 'too far to go' to ride, party or just see new parts of the world...even if they are in your own backyard. Amongst the many pastimes of the Badwebbers, we have gained cooking tips, renovating ideas, photography hints, travel ideas, riding experience, technical music advice and most of all, the reinforced distinct feeling that we are a part of an amazing network of passionate people. I am glad that our excitement to be able to make the trip spread like fire as it meant that we got to meet so many of you. It was certainly our pleasure. |

It's nice to be home Getting over jetlag reasonably well, and had a nice sunday finishing unpacking, looking at photo's and remembering all the places we've been and people we've met. I also got all the vehicles fired up (with a little help from a battery charger) and hope to take the 1125 for a spin tomorrow if the weather behaves. I'm itching to go for a ride! For those who were wondering what was "in the bag", this is what I picked up at Mandolin Brothers in NY...
The pic really doesn't do the finish justice, it's a beautiful deep cheery red, I need to try and get pic of it in the sun. I had a good play around with it last night, I think this is my new fav guitar My real objective had been to pick up a good quality 5-string bass. With Gary's help (and Vamps patience!), mission successful:
It's an ESP Ltd 405SM. Like the PRS it's made in Korea with final inspection and setup in USA. It's beautiful to play, really nice tone, and a nice mix of modern and classic styling. The satin finish on the spalded maple top is beautiful too. |

Good to hear you guys are home safe - I was without a computer since the 15th until I got into San Dimas on the 24th, so it's been a lot of catching up on BadWeB since! |
