Trying to separate from the iPhone 4 thread, any issues with upgrading their iOS to 4.0? Only issue I have had is the fuzzy pictures that were not native to the phone. I need to do a sync at home to fix the 37XX picts I have that are not iPhone native. Later Neil S. |

Oh and I really like the folders app and how it's setup. I had a folders app when my phone was jailbroken but it wasn't as clean as this one. It's nice only having to surf two pages rather than six. |

No problems here, on my iPhone 3Gs. I have heard it is not really recommended for 3G in spite of what Apple says. I like the improved speed, multitasking, background radio,(Radio Time), the way it shows photos, and the new home screen. The new IOS4 version of the NY Times is pretty good too, and I am looking for other IOS4 apps in the near future. I could not get through to make a pre order,so this will hold me over till I can just walk in and get one, probably in a couple of weeks. By the way, I think it is a good idea to buy one at an Apple retail store, because they give better service to people who do so. |

Jon: What are you using for radio? I have to figure out how the folders and multi tasking work but I really like the mail . . . it's the same as the iPad. |

Pandora works for music if you get the most recent update that allows it to play in the background. Slacker hasn't released their update yet that I've seen. |

Court, there's videos on apples site regarding that. Folders all you do is get your icons shaking, then take one app and drop it over an like app, and the phone will create the folder. you can roll with the name it gives it or edit it. |

court pandora is a good "radio" app you just pick a song or band you you like and it will play songs that are closely related to them. |

Can't get mine past the "backup" phase. I once again hate Apple. |

Got the fuzzy pic syndrome. Gonna fix that tonight. Had the iPod 3 sec shut down till I did a double resynch on the files. Had the Fox News app do the 3 sec and off, just booted it off the phone and downloaded it again. Overall just diggin the update and its abilities. |

No problems with mine yet Wish there was a faster way to end programs/apps and keep them from "backgrounding" to keep from using batt life and resources The new transitions are cool but I wish I could turn that off too in order to boost performance |

i didnt put it on my 3g, but its working flawlessly on my Iphone 4. Time will tell though, as I just received the new phone this morning. I love the difference over the 3G software. I was told if I wanted to hack my 3G to sell, to NOT upgrade to the newest software. |

Court - I am using "Tunein Radio" app by Synsion Radio Technology. Cost $1.99 and worth every penny:-). You can tune in virtually every radio station, over 40,000 of them, and there is a good search function. Plays in the background, and you can record shows if you want to. |

yes but there are a lot of stipulations on it at the moment and the stipulations they have keep my phone from being able to use that one. |

I put iOS4 on my 3G on Monday. I couldn't get the backup to work properly, but since I haven't had the phone very long I decided to try the upgrade anyway. It took most of an hour, but iOS4 installed just fine and it left all my media and settings intact. I can't multitask since this is a 3G, but the folders and mail are great. My 'desktop' is now much cleaner and I can get to all of my mail in fewer clicks. |
