It was a good time...apparently I decided to go mud diving. And no, it wasn't intentional. The balloons I had got taken away by the mud, and I decided to take off after them not realizing what looked like dry mud really was just a top layer, because I definitely faceplanted about 4 steps in. Buell Balloons : 1. Wilson : 0.

A huge thanks from us too! For making our first Homecoming a time we will never ever forget. It was the most amazing feeling to finally put faces to the names we speak to so often online and share some quality time together. |

Hows your gate working? Vamp, meeting you guys was certainly a high point for MANY of us. I know I can speak for everyone of the organizers... We all pretty much shared the sentiment... "Never again...." But after seeing the results of many months of hard work... We'll do it again. I'd also like to thank Rocco for putting up with me these past few months. I had an unexpected job change right when things started to get come together. It really threw a wrench in to the whole ordeal. Rocco did a FANTASTIC job keeping his cool, and putting up with me and getting the things I was assigned to do in much later than anticipated. I'd also like to thank Bob Slowinski(bobsled) for stepping up to the plate when I couldn't be there because of the new job working nights now. THANK YOU! The photographer, Lori even exclaimed... "I had more fun here than I had at bike week". Guys & Gals, that's saying something! And a big thanks to EVERYONE for behaving themselves. I was a tad worried about this becoming a small HD bashing fest. It wasn't. THANK YOU! |

Great thanks to all those involved including those that showed up. With my 12yr old along I was a bit concerned about the banquet/concert but he had a great time and so did we. Thank you all |

>>>>.....who shall I bug? The general rule has always kinda been to sit tight for a month. I have a feeling next year is going to be damned exciting and a bit different format. Call it a hunch . . . |

If we're doing it again, believe me when I say no offers of help will be turned away. Hell, I missed the track day, Gus's, Roma's and all the local rides. I made it to Erik's for about 15 minutes. I knew from the start we weren't going to be able to do much. I always screw myself over. When it was during the races, I never participated because I was either racing or crewing. This time I was planning. Think I'd learn! |

Rocco: You hit it on the head . . . . I knew from the start we weren't going to be able to do much. I always screw myself over. Having been around these for 20 years . . . . it's ALWAYS a great idea to let the dust settle and folks return to something near "normal" and not start planning the next year too soon. You guys really raised the bar, I think this was the best Homecoming ever . . . . you guys pulled this off with less than 5% of the folks that HD has working on it . . .nothing short of amazing. My first was in the late 80's and this won't be my last either. By the way . . . having attended about 5 "grassroots" and the rest "corporate" . . . I am a HUGE fan of "grassroots". |
