Thanks guys. I'm glad you like the pics, I enjoyed sketching them for you. Jack is a beautiful pup. We are looking forward to catching up with both him and Court at Homecoming. The last few days have taken a different direction from the first half of the holiday. More hands on and less 'tourist' action. We have tried more foods, done a little more shopping for things that aren't of a tourist nature and had our first few days on motorcycles in Ohio. Wolf took me for a maiden voyage on the xb12 on Sunday morning when the sun came out, while Chili went for a quick spin on the stt. Only an hour or so, but enough to get a feel for the bikes. Monday afternoon we set out for Piqua to stay with Gary and his family.
As aforementioned, we had a safe trip and arrived as the big faucet in the sky was starting to leak. Since we arrived, Gary and Ange have filled us with amazing food and plenty of it, given along with plenty of chat and hospitality. Today we went for a drive to see a massive shopping complex a while away and hunt for bass guitars once again. Someone made the butter very happy...
This was half the room just for the cigars...
There was 1400 types of hot sauce!!! and some other freaky stuff...
Tonight there is a little packing to do and tomar morning we set out for a little get together we hear is happening not too far from here Oh...and Chili finally found himself a little something else in a case...but I'll let him let it out of the bag...er...case!
Leaving tomorrow AM from CT (yea I know, starting a bit late) - I have created http://www.twitter.com/buelltrip for friends and family or anyone interested in following my journey from CT to WI. You do not need to have a twitter acct (or even want one) to see updates.
Yep, we'll be at Alpine in about 8 hours or so... woooohoooo!!!! Vamps did really great riding the XB12Scg to Piqua, but has decided to sit back and ride shotgun and enjoy the view for the trip to East Troy.
Cool! Jungle Jims! You could have gotten some Ostrich or Rattle Snake stakes to go with the hot sauce! And their humidor does rock... not that expensive either (at least last time I was there).
Well we are just north of Chicago eating some really cheap and nasty Chinese food. We will be hitting the road shortly to finish off the journey to alpine valley.
We're making pretty good time and will likely call it a day here in Toledo. It slows things down when Jack ..... The spoiled brat "Super Dog".... has to stop for a "Puppy Latte' " every couple hours .....
Well we made in one piece. The ride went pretty smooth other than having to stop every once in a while so Kate can get the feeling back in her butt. We should be hitting the bar soon so the bad web celebs can meet everyone.
Thank you for celebrating here in the Village of East Troy.
FYI – For some free entertainment Thursday night, the East Troy Community Band will be playing on the Village Square at 7:30 PM. We’re really not bad..
There will be another update from chili and vamps probably tomorrow. They don't have a computer with them to post on. So I am sure that as soon as we get back to my house they will be posting up some good story's. I know they have a bunch of them. Not to mention they learned not to leave there camera lying unattended. Lol
