I like the donation thing. Set up PAYPAL account for erik and you hit the donate button on the web site to make a donation. You could do the thank you decal for donations over ten bucks. I suspect badweb could put together 5000 bucks if tried hard enough. |

"When his contract expires I would like to think that the motorcycle companies are standing in line to contract for specific jobs or to hire him as a regular employee, that is assuming he want to go back to a regular job. He has good proven engineering skills, with real production machines to show for it, that should mean something to any company looking for a vehicle engineer (he would probably make some really cool cars too)." I'm sorry. I just couldn't help it. G |

Erik gets pissed and throws a large wrench at Court after finding out that Court blew a shock on a test bike again" Well Court, you know what they say: "if you can dodge a wrench..." So...who plays Eddie on the show? Like Kim said - we're in. Pay me a one dollar annual salary and I'll pit for every race on the east coast. I may not be bright...but I can lift heavy stuff! And since I sent it last night from a 'new' email address and your spam filter may have caught it I figure I'll tell ya...you've got an email. |

And get Erik Buell Racing racing to put up a $20 sticker, a $50 T-Shirt and a $100 garage banner for sale to support the racing effort. I think this would work pretty well. |

I bought 2 shirts on Friday, then bought 3 more yesterday just because it wasn't enough to only have 2. I'm not rich, but I'll chip in something. I think I need me a big ass banner in my garage though. |

I happily donated a modest cash amount to Aaron Wilson's BadWeb-savvy, successful RR1000 Bonneville Land Speed Record - his team's fund-raising included putting your name on the roomy front fender, in reasonably-sized capital letters worked on me! OR 4-wheeled teams assign varying sponsor price levels for different locations on racecars - wonder if that same practice applies to SuperBikes? if so, why not announce an online sponsor auction for Erik Buell Racing's various bodywork display locations? set each placement area's initial base price to reflect desireability & then allow individuals, groups, dealers - whomever - to pony up $$, mebbe even compete with $$ for a specific location in addition to 'real', traditional sponsors, sufficient real estate may remain to express more modest support on the race bike the Erik Buell Racing racer would thus display both major & minor sponsor logos, etc., on a unique machine which they all literally helped fund the collective version of "it works for me"..... |

I wouldn't mind putting up a small amount to have Badweb be listed as the sponsor.. No need for my name to be on the bike individually, but as a collective we could all fit. That's my 2-cents. |

Working on a team sponsorship site. Really. Hopefully up within a week. And if you happen to know of any serious sponsors or investors, let us know at info@ebracing.com! We have some great bikes sitting here and not enough money to get them where they could be used, and then re-build them afterwards. Shawn on an 1190RR at Willow? How about us fielding against the factory KTM's they enter in club races rather than at pro races? |

Anony - we could seriously get Shawn on an 1125R. We can justify putting "my" motor into the Antelope Valley ex-MotoGT1 machine and giving it to Shawn. It'd be a "waste" to have a good machine being raced just by me (except when Shawn isn't) Much to discuss... and we WILL be getting that bike re-fit, just TODAY we had an informal meeting of me and the staff to see who'd do volunteer wrenching and we got their THREE BEST mechanics step right up! Can't WAIT for Scott to get back in town next week. Shawn with a properly prepared 1125R at WSMC, WERA West could do really well. We just need to make sure he can EAT. |
