So, the stars have mostly aligned for an unplanned last minute decision to head south for HC. I've already trekked north to Mpls, had my Uly ridden cross country and delivered by my wonderful spouse earlier this week, and had a last minute schedule change that would allow me to make the last leg of the journey to the home of the best bike I've ever had if I can split a room for Friday night. Got a couple calls out to Milwaukee folks from me previous chapter of life to make sure I'd have a place to stay no matter what, but have not heard back yet (some people actually WORK during the week? I work mostly weekends, its been a while since I was on that schedule!). PM me if you have a room to share. I can schlep my sleeping bag along if necessary and sleep on the floor. This may be the deciding factor if I can make the trip to Milwaukee or not. Thanks, BeLinda. |
