Weather?? he better watch out for the Moth Man! That's precisely why he chose Point Pleasant. Hope he got thru the first wave of weather OK - it was pretty gnarly when it finally collapsed on us. |

With the event about to kick off, we neglected to mention a very important thing. Respect. Yes, Homecoming is about bikes and having a great time. We would like it to remain safe and sane. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Respect Homecoming 2010, Erik Buell Racing, the Village of East Troy, and Alpine Valley Resort by refraining from dangerous riding, burnouts, wheelies, stoppies, etc,etc.. We stand to lose more than we gain by acting stupid. Local media will be involved in this event and the last thing we need is to make ourselves look bad and tarnish BUELL, past, present and future. If you want to ride fast, do the track day or visit the drag strip. We want everyone to return home safe with stories of a great time. NOT hurt or stories of a Hospital visit or massive fines. Thanks. Homecoming 2010 Staff On a side note. When riding into Alpine Valley Resort, watch for sand on the driveway in spots

Well, I just talked to Dale and he is up at Mukwanago Co Park... and set up his tent in the torrential downpour we had this afternoon... I hope to get up around 6 AM on Thursday and roll out by 8 AM... which would put me at the park by 9:30 easy... then to Alpine for registration by 12:30... There is also a big tar snake in front of Alpine right as you turn in under the A Frame arch... so watchout... should stop raining for a few days now... |

I haven't seen that much rain in a while. Water was coming in my helmet. With the baclava on I thought I was being waterboarded. Found out my weatherproof boots aren't. It don't get much better than this. Char. Can you print me a map from country view campgrounds to yours? |

I'd be cool for Gus's around 6;00 . . . depends a bit on what else is on tap but that would be fun and what a chance to let East Troy know we are in town. I'm going to contact the Village of East Troy Officials and tell them they are welcome to join us around 6:00. How cool would it be if we extended a huge Buell Thank You to the East Troy folks? Any objections? |

Yeah Crusty!! I have the camper all set, the M2 is ready, the wife is still not too keen on pulling the camper over. I am not real thrilled about working tomorrow but I think I feel a cough coming on. Ourdee, how is the camp ground? Do you need anything? I will gladly bring it down for you. |

We made it to Delavan. If anyone is staying at the comfort suites you are welcome to park your bikes next to our trailer and XBs. We didn't get a banquet or concert ticket so I don't think there's any need for us to ride up to Alpine and register is there? |

My window here at w*rk overlooks I-75 right before the I-675 junction in Dayton, and I'm watching for Buells... I think I saw one so far, black Uly loaded with gear and a rider with a white helmet, cruising by at 1:21 pm on Wed... Wave when you go by! I have a real hairball of a work problem right now, so I'm spending a lot of time staring out the window trying to figure out how the heck to untangle it... I'd welcome the break. |
