The seat thread in the 1125 forum got me to thinking about who actually produced the seats for Buell and was it the same company that produced the aftermarket seats for Buell? |

Buried in that thread is a link to the Taiwan based company that most likely made the seats. |

Al from American Sport Bike said he has been in touch with them directly, so I dont think you can do better on your own. |

Only hearsay, but I heard that Harley made the suppliers of accessories either destroy or return the tooling to Harley. Just another spiteful move on the part of The Moron Company. |

It was really just a question that came from curiosity. I had a Select Seat on my City-X and have a Custom Seat on my Firebolt. They seem to be made with a completely different mindset though. I really figured that they were made by different companies. As far as better I am am not sure I could do better than my current guy that I am using. This magician turned the 2 x 4 on my DRZSM into the most comfortable seat I have ever rode on. In fact he is currently building a replacement for the Buell Custom Seat on my Firebolt. If it is half the improvement that was made on the DRZ then I be in heaven. |

Yeah, just thought you were one of the people that "just have to have a Buell seat". Dont know why everyone is so crazy for them?? |
