Thanx to both of you for giving me a slice of your time on this adventure. Lots of fun in the aquarium with the sharks and the rays(you need to work on the pix posting like I said over lunch), I wish my photo skills were better. Every time I go to a Buell event I am blessed with meeting the best folks ever, this was no exception, Chilli and Vamps are a lovely pair and a pleasure to hang with, thanx again and enjoy the rest of your northern hemisphere adventure, Cheers! | ||

The SCAB (SoCal Area Buellers) group roasted Vamps and Chili last night before they red-eyed it to New York City. They are in the clutches of Court by now, so god help 'em. | ||

Don't worry about it Jamie... They have stocked up on good weather while in CA. Besides.. Kate and Graham are here to get acquainted with us and that happens with or w/o the cooperation of weather. It was soooo much fun to have them here. You guys are in for a treat! | ||

No one . . . especially Australians . . . gets by without clearing security by Jack the Super Dog. He checked'em out immediately . . . it's been just over a month since we had the last Australians here . . . . "papers please?" . . . "no, not mine, yours!". ((wait . . can we ask for papers anymore?))     Australians sleeping soundly . . . .truck being fueled with 100LL for first "New York by Ford Pickup Tour". What could go wrong? | ||

According to my sources, Saturday has a 50% chance of a T-storm.That means that it will pour while we're eating lunch inside the Dinosaur, then quit and dry up when we're done eating. The ride to and from will be dry. Even if I got my weather from Captain "Wrong Way" Peachfuzz, and it does the opposite from what I just wrote, I bet we'll have a great time! | ||

The next instalment in our adventure began today. Yesterday we spent the day cruising the L.A shopping mall at Victoria Gardens, getting a little bit lost and then back on track.  Asbjorn was great enough to trust us with his car and send us off into the suburban unknown. We only had the one geographically challenged incident, but with our own personal 'Onstar' instructor, we found a Walmart and made it 'home'. We headed to a S.C.A.B Buellers meeting where we were inundated with goodies and greetings and then out to LAX for the midnight express to JFK. As you could see by the inevitable 'press leak' we made it safe, after a slightly uncomfortable, yet unhampered journey. We were met by yet another smiling host and ushered off to a hearty breakfast after a sidetrack to some scenery...  The coffee could not prevail, and tired eyes started creeping up, so back at Court and Vickie's (and Jack's)beautiful home, we had the nap after lunch (and much ear scratching).  We have now capped off the night with a dinner at a local bar and a drive by the Staten Island Ferry area.   Tomorrow holds who knows what when we head into Manhattan | ||
