On December 29th I treated myself to a Buell Bolt Functional Jacket from GRHarley. Money was tight but they had the best price at under $125.00. Several weeks ago the back left vent zipper got hopelessly stuck in the closed position. Bummer. There goes using the jacket on warm days. I figured I might as well email GRHarley customer service just to see if there was anything they could do. I got the following email. Thanks for your email! The good news is, Harley-Davidson will still be honoring Buell warranties. The bad news is, that jacket has a 90 day warranty which has expired. The best news is GRHarley is a pretty cool place, so I can probably hook you up with a repair or a replacement. Just ship back your jacket with a copy of this email or a note to me (Brandi) and I'll do my best to take care of you. GRHarley attn: Brandi 2977 Corporate Grove Dr Hudsonville, MI 49426 So I sent them my jacket and yesterday I received a brand new jacket at no charge. I really appreciate it when companies like GR go above and beyond the call. If anyone has wondered how they are to deal with my experience has been awesome. Wholly crap! That is awesome! Especially considering the present Buell product future for an HD dealership. Nice to see that someone cares! Congrats Mark! Let's find time to ride...OK? |
