I'll be surprised if he's still alive a year after he gets put in prison. |

He's probably going to cop a plea in Peru thinking it is better than the death sentence in America...He'll regret that. |

And although the police just confirmed he confessed some of the transcript has been leaked in the local press here. According to that transcript, he allegedly broke down as he confessed how he returned from buying two coffees just after 8:00 in the morning, and to find Stephany Flores looking through his personal laptop and looking personal documents he said which regarded the previous allegations against him, and that he was a prime suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway five years before in his native Aruba. And the report continues to say he flew into a rage. He shouted at her that she invaded his privacy and said she had no right to do so. She was scared she tried escape, and he says he grabbed her by the neck and proceeded to beat her. Ultimately, he asphyxiated her. And that's apparently how she died according to his confession. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,594223,00.html Also this http://www.rnw.nl/english/article/joran-may-face-v igilante-justice-jail Peru Prison conditions: Castro sounds like a lovely place http://www.nowpublic.com/world/peru-prison-conditi ons-what-joran-van-der-sloot-could-face-2626465.ht ml |

That story sounds like a total crock. And honestly, going homicidal (literally) because someone found out you've been accused of homicide doesn't really help your case, IMHO. My money is on a sexual encounter where dude gets his rocks off beating chicks to death. ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on June 10, 2010) |

So now this a-hole has confessed to Peruvian authorities that he knows where Holloway's body is... and apparently he got $25,000 form Holloway's mother's attorney... gave them FALSE information about where Natalee's body was... and they went to the house he indicated and dug up the foundation and could not find her... He is saying he will only testify to Arubian authorities on where Natalee's body is... I hope they hang him up naked in some cell with other rotting corpses for the rest of his life... This guy is the SCUM OF THE EARTH... and I pray both of these families finally get some justice and some closure... hopefully they have no laws against torturing and coercion in Peru... This is one case where I would support both! |

Now I'm confused??? A person who kills two people and is offering information should be tortured, but a person who was key in killing thousands and who's organization is still trying to kill thousands more should not be tortured (if water-boarding really is torture). |

No doubt that he is one sick puppy. I'm just trying to get an understanding of your moral convictions. |

It's easy to explain Sifo, GW is the devil and if his administration did it, it must be wrong. Simple right? |

Oddly I wasn't trying to inject politics into a thread that deals with international laws and therefore is bound to have many political implications. I was merely trying to get a better understanding of Char's moral convictions. Unfortunately it appears that her moral convictions may just be politically driven. Whatever... (that's a pun...) |

Gee... it has been six months you and I have been posting on here about politics and 8 years since I have been posting on badweb... AND YOU STILL MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE... I am not going to play your games anymore... I AM DONE... I will no longer reply to your idiocy... that is it... deal with it... Blake and Court are both my friends... have entirely different political and religious views and very good willed towards me... Blake gets out of line from time to time... but we have an understanding... You are just wasting my time on the other hand and I am sick of it. |

All I did was ask why you are in favor of torturing one person but not another. You could have explained it, retracted it, or whatever you like. Instead... |

Don't know about Char, but as for ME? If they have a confession on one rape/murder, and it's good evidence that would stand up, I'm good for doing extreeemly rude things to the guy, especially if he ( as it seems/is alleged ) lied about the location of one body he had hidden and is a real basket case sociopath. I'd stick him in a cat scanner, ( better than a polygraph to guide the questions )drug him, interrogate, verify, then drop him in a hole to be backfilled. I don't want his kind on my planet. ( and I'm against the death penalty... so I'd have to run the bulldozer myself, and take the heat ) Why him, and not Osama's minions? Because I don't think we should torture period even in times of war. You feel you have to get the location of the ticking bomb, by any means? Do it, and take the consequences of your actions. Jack Bauer from "24" belongs in jail. Now if I was Prez. I might give Jack a pardon, but I sure wouldn't make it policy. This serial killer of teen girls? I would take the rap for getting the info, if I was in a position to do so. Lucky for me, I'm not. After the fact violence/revenge is wrong....so I'm not perfect. During the fact violence is, however, sometimes justified. I have also been lucky that I have not interrupted a rape. I have interrupted a robbery, but no one was seriously hurt, and I didn't have to do time in jail or hospital. If I interrupted a rape, that would be unlikely. So, My motivations are personal, probably hypocritical, and I'm unapologetic about that. |

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/14/peru.murder.ca se/index.html?hpt=T2 So he killed her because he thought he'd get in trouble for hitting her? Do you think I could be his new attorney? I think we might save everyone some time that way. "Sorry your honor, My client can't appear today since he was hit by a bus on the way in to court. Here's his confession, I throw him on the mercy of the court. ( I already threw him under the Bus.... just following my President's lead. ) " |

Screw the moral babble hook up the jumper cables and take notes THEN put that rat bastard in a hole and back fill. Same thing applies to the underhanded "combatants" of allah. Why should we play nice and they go for blood? I say jihad up! What would Jack Reacher or Mitch Rapp do? |
