just be very smart about what you do or say. Hell no, Wa-wandell has made it clear on his feelings about Buell. He has burnt that bridge. Go all up in there like those idiots from Westburo Babtist Church with signs and stuff LOL |

Sounds like a very bad idea. You do not know what kind of back channel support Erik Buell Racing needs from HD. Antagonizing HD will serve no useful purpose and might cause damage to Erik Buell Racing. It is time to let it go. The marketplace will ultimately decide to punish or reward HD for what appears to be incredibly short sighted and stupid decisions. |

Not to mention future parts support. I would hate to see everything on back order. |

We are already starting to see a scarcity issue with parts. Please don't antagonize the situation further. HD has the ability to ground every Buell simply by making parts "obsolete". |

HD has the ability to ground every Buell simply by making parts "obsolete". They were doing that years ago! Or making them super expensive... |

Tried to get an airbox cover? They are all obsolete in the system. Can't get them. That's a stock part. How much harder will it be when we can no longer get stators and throttle bodies or cooling fans? I wouldn't put it past Wandell to just say "F*ck 'em!" |

HD has 7yrs of support left and if they were to back order parts or make them obsolete there would be one big azz lawsuit! The do not have us by the balls and if we quit going to group rides this would play right into HD favors. Please ride much as you want and in many group functions also, these bikes were made to ride and we bought them with our HARD earned money. |

Yea right, a law suit. That will assure our parts supply. Guess who would come out ahead on that? I have had very good luck getting parts. Everything except the new belt in a couple days. I for one would like to keep it that way. HD could make it very miserable for us. I agree, go on a ride and enjoy yourself, but slapping Mr. Wandell in the face at a ride will be self defeating IMO. |

Not saying to slap him in the face just saying to go and support the bikes we all ride and love. It is not like a bunch of Buellers showing up is going to make Keith say "man these guys are pricks showing up to my ride". It may actually show him how much we support the brand and how he should in turn support us with parts and service. You guys have a tendency to always look at the negative sides of things. We are not showing up to "start anything" we are riding in to show that we do and will continue to support Buell. Look at the Last Ride, a bunch of Buellers got together to show support. I for one am not worried about parts support, I believe Erik Buell Racing will continue to support us with aftermarket accessories for years to come. I have been waiting for over a month and a half for parts to fix my clutch weep, but this is the nature of the beast. I choose to keep my Buells even though the company is no more. I am taking this risk even though I know parts will become harder and harder to find. Jimmy |

I say F him and do it...eBay has plenty of parts as well as American Sport bike. And there is nothing keeping some other manufacture making knock offs. F Wendall, someone should wear the greedy bastards shirt. Makes no difference to me I am thinking of buying a Triumph and either making the firebolt a track day bike or sell it if does not work out and make room for EB's next bike...fixed this post so there is no confusion!!! Registration required. Think they'll let Buells participate in an event featuring a controversial H-D VIP? Show up in as big a group as you can muster at the dealer (or nearby) and say nothing. Place yourselves conspicuously. Maintain a large Buell pack and let nothing/nobody in between you and your Buellers, but do nothing shameful. Let your rumbles and your numbers speak for themselves. Everyone there will know where you stand. >Picturing a 21-burnout salute as Wandell's ride departs...< |

Step back for a moment. No matter how you spin it, you are angry ... and it will show. What is it you hope to achieve? Why don't you Buellers just go for a Buell ride? I rode 250+ miles this weekend and it was great. I suggest you do the same. Don't listen to the chest thumpers on this thread. Some talk big but in their next breath, they are going to sell their Buell. Let Wandell wear his silly little do-rag with his own. |

I say DO show up to show that there is a Buell population still out here. Remind him that Buell once existed. Remind him that there are people who love Buell and hate what he's done to Buell. I know right now that if you break the air box cover for a Buell under warranty, the system says you can't get one. I don't know what that means for warranty claims, but it doesn't appear that 7 years means anything. I seriously doubt that anyone here is going to spend $50,000-$100,000 on a lawsuit for a $5,000-10,000 motorcycle. |

Well, I for one do not want to rely on ebay for my parts and were do you think American Sport Bike gets their parts from? I do not plan on selling my XT. I would like to keep it running and viable for a long time. I am not planing on buying a Triumph for my every day bike. I bet there will not be many third party makers willing to design parts for the small Buell market. As I said before, go ride have fun and be classy. If there are enough of you, he will get the message. |

I'm 100% for Buell events & rides to keep the spirit of Buell alive. Which is why I was shocked to see some (not many) negative PM comments I got on this forum concerning Dragon III at Deals Gap in April. If someone doesn't like the Deals Gap area, fine stay home, but it felt good to see all the Buells that showed up and that everyone had a great time. That's how we spit in Wandells face. As much as I'd like to ride out to Raleigh for that ride, I can't because I probably would do something to that FAG Wandell that would end up with me in trouble and a not-so-good image for Buellers. He's a damn golfer who's just learning to ride. He will probably drop his bike anyway and look stupid in front of everyone. |

He's an a$$hole who doesn't know motorcycles. He's an a$$hole, though, who knows when people are pissing him off. Feel free to show up and make a stink. Just don't be surprised when more parts you need become "obsolete". |

How the hell does H-D go about getting their CEOs? What happened to Jeff Bleustien and John Flickinger (did I spell those right)? Obviously they didn't stay in that position forever, and although it probably won't bring Buell back, I can't wait for the day when Wandell is out of there. |

The BOD selects them. The death of a company is usually proceeded by the selection of an MBA over someone experienced in the business. |
