>>>How could you keep a straight face when pulling that off! You obviously don't know Brankin . . . the new poster boy of the BUELL REVOLUTION. Can we say "Revolution"? . . shit, they have that name too.

I don't think Wandell is an idiot for signing that shirt. I do think he was an idiot for failing to appropriate due diligence, and for listening to people he was should have already been looking to replace, when he approved the "close Buell" deal. The "honest mistakes" defense was lost as he sought to do the cover up later, and further made statements showing he fundamentally misunderstood what he was supposed to be leading. I don't complain about a high salary if you do the job, but at multiple millions per year, I don't tolerate many mistakes. And I say that as his employer, I was a stockholder when he made that decision, and fired him that day. Makes me glad Brankin isn't after me... that I know of anyway... >>>>It's obvious that Mr. Wandell doesn't know him either! Seriously . . . that's a bit of the problem. Flick always seemed to know, recognize and recall the names of hundreds of Buellers. Keith lacks the most rudimentary understanding of the business he's been asked to manage. In addition, a couple of the foolish things he did, induce by bad advise from a couple folks, have cost him the respect of most the folks I know who work for HD. They won't admit it to his face or publicly but they are laughing as hard as we are inside. |

Just the mofo co subsidising the world's best racers to run thier pansy ass XR1200 on the track in a "special class"... well, they didn't invent the class I guess... but the specs are so narrow it was the only bike... like 14 of them... and I don't have a problem with them supporting racers... but this was obviously just a marketing gimmick... |

This is another classic Buell moment that ranks right up there with Ferris Bueller’s Picture in Battle2Win being pulled over and frisked with the S1 in the backround…… |

That particular Ferris Bueller was me, and it was a brand-new S1 White Lightning, photo taken just a few clicks from the base of Mt. Rainier, Washington, USA. Not at all sure my exploits rank up there with Brankin's, but it was a fun time (made more enjoyable by the fact I didn't go to jail - the photo was staged, but the pat-down was most definitely real...) - thanks for the memory. Brankin, maybe you print off a couple hunnert of your "FUHD" shirts for Homecoming? I bet they'd sell like gangbusters. And hey, maybe everyone chips in an extra buck or two to cover attorney's fees???

I stand in awe of the deviousness exhibited here. That shirt is more sacred than a hallowed battleground. I salute you, sir. |
