You've gotta see this. http://www.cycletrader.com/find/listing/photos/954 72741/ I'm sure someone out there will love it...but it is one of the most hideous bikes I've ever seen. |

That's different it's like he went out of his way to disguise the fact that it is a Sportster. |

And the price? Wow, I like Sportsters ok, but I wouldn't want that. Someone must be very proud of it at that price though. |

So... somebody took a gutless turd and put a big ugly dress on it. That girl will be standing in the corner by herself for the entire dance. |

Its one of those historically important rides that has too much style for its own good. Like most of the stuff from Arlen Ness. It is from Russ Tom, the man behind the Fatster kit (when you couldnt get a fat boy to save your life) and some other locally innovative pieces. The Kaboom pipes were his signature and picked up by Drag Specialities.... and if you have been to DHD, you have seen the low boy fuel in frame cafe from 2001 that has XB elements to it; apparently the guys from HD saw it in 2002 and about shiate their pants. I will dig up a pick of it So as a bike to ride, no As a bike to collect, you know somebody will |

I am sure that he could have easily been on one of the 'Master Builder' shows that Discovery was pushing during the heyday; but it was not his style. Just a guy that came up in the industry, advanced through the dealership and became owner through his family. http://russ-tom.com/ 2001 boys |
