Does anybody know how to set/maintain the friction rings on a Browning A5? The thing kicks like a mule so I've been wondering if its friction rings aren't properly set, considering it's been in our family for about 80 years it could just be old but Brownings are known for being durable autoloaders considering the Auto 5 was in production from 1900-1990. Also, anyone know where I can find a bayonet for my Winchester '89 trench gun? Thanks guys! |

http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/ctgy/brow ning-auto-5-field-service-manual http://media.browning.com/pdf/om/auto5_light_om_s. pdf They are sweet, I've wanted one for years. bayonets are used for finishing, not starting something. A Winchester '87 or a later Model 12 takes a M1917 bayonet. First search got me $70 for a reproduction. Gun shows, flea markets, online. The M1917 has a 17" blade.... |
