One thing you guys may or may not know yet... TSA (US Transportation Security Administration) is very picky about fluids here... Since the "shoe bomber" they have prohibited gel inserts... however shoes with gel in them are ok... but I would just check them in with the luggage... As far as fluids in a carry on bag... 3.4 ounces OR under is ok... anything over 100 ml they will throw in the trash... There are 29.57352965 milliliters in one US fluid ounce. So anything 100 milliliters OR less would be ok... Save yourselves a headache and check all fluids in your bags... including hand cream... http://www.tsa.gov/311/index.shtm Who would've guessed... meat cleavers are prohibited for carry on...  http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/ permitted-prohibited-items.shtm It can also take OVER 2 Hours to get through US TSA... so plan accordinlgly... Whaaat??? No meat cleavers in carry on?? Darn it all, now I have to re-pack! Neal, we were just worried about the speed cameras, as we will either be driving rental cars or other people's bikes. Over here, if you get done with a speed camera it just gets issued to the rego holder. Only 7 days now! | ||

The Dino opens at 11:30 am on Saturday. I say we get there First thing when they open to get seats together. If we go later sitting together will be a problem. Post up if you are going to get a head count. We might be able to get them to put a table together if we know how many. @Mark... I'm still alive! I "think" it is safe, although Kate has been talking about her infatuation with knives. Hopefully the Aussie version of Homeland Security confiscated them all before they boarded the flight. Do me a favor... be quiet for the next 3-4 hours. They are taking a nap. |
