OK parts people, I've been getting conflicting information about XB12 S headlamps. I bought my bike in the UK & the UK dealer says it's the same headlamp as the Euro version, however on the French Buell forum some of les guys reckon it's different. Can any of you enlighten me. (pun intended ) Thanks. |

it is The lamp has a dip. IE on a US or Euro spec the light dips to the right as not to blind oncoming traffic. On UK models it dips to the left... |

Well it depends, 09+ Lightning/Uly models have the same lamp regardless of market. Older bikes had 3 different lamps depending on where it was sold. |

On the old single lamp models it's a different lamp due to the lens. However the xb has twins with plain clear lenses so if there are differences it must be in the reflectors or the adjustment of the lamps. I can't seen to get a definitive answer from anyone, hence my question, to find out if there are different part numbers. |

Sorry, meant to come back to this before. Yes, there used to be different part numbers. You could get the XB lamps in USA, Euro right hand drive, and Euro left hand drive models. All 3 have been superseded to the new one size fits all lamp that comes on the 2009+ models. |
