I witnessed a fatal head on crash Monday in which a very careless teen driver caused her other teen passengers death, her and the person she hit are still in critical condition. My brother and I witnessed the accident (passed us in a no-passing zone at high speed and lost control), and we were the first people to the vehicles. It has been a very tough image to get out of our heads and I feel very bad for all people involved... but I just wanted to say be careful, and think twice before doing something stupid on the road as there are alot of innocent people out there that just want to get where they are going! |

Thanks, not an image I would wish on anybody. They had skipped school to go to the beach, have not determined if alcohol was involved yet but she was driving like a maniac! |

someone had posted a "red light runners" video the other day and I am slowing down at green lights and looking both ways before I cross thru the intersection now. Careless/distracted drivers are everywhere so I watch out for myself as much as I can. |

words of wisdom, especially coming up on the holiday weekend. i feel for you having to see the results of someone elses carelessness. saw one my self where a car of mexicans pulled right in front of the the small pickup that just went by me on a four lane. luckily it wasn't fatal but i left the guy my name and # which helped him out especially with the insurance company. |

We're having several motorcyclists killed a day in the New York City area. I watch some of these guys in traffic and it's a wonder there aren't a dozen a day. A friend, in New Jersey, told me her son's best friend was killed the other day on a bike so I Googled "New Jersey Motorcycle Fatality" . . .there were so many I had no idea which one it was. Be responsible for yourself. I watched a dismembered guy being cleaned off the Palisades Parkway a couple weeks age and it was really disturbing. |

Tbolt, That is local News to Me, and it is apparent that this teenager was driving recklessly, as the woman who was hit, was actually pulled over to the shoulder, as she saw the SUV coming, and pulled off the road, not knowing what else to do, and was still hit head-on. |

Yes it it roadcouch, I moved to Rochester last year but grew up in Chittenango.... was in town visiting for the day and coming back from lunch with my bro. The news reports don't tell you just how recklessly she was driving and at high speed. |
