Made my day! - and I am am currently staying in the hotel right next door to the Zion dealership. Spent all day passing no helmet harley riders - makes me cringe. Do not get me wrong to each their own just cleans the gene pool. Got to go ride the last bike in the movie! I think I have a quarter in my pocket! Oh wait it is a HD kids ride probably only takes 20's |

...and I am am currently staying in the hotel right next door to the Zion dealership. Zion H-D is a great dealership, and friend to BadWeb: Zion H-D's General Manager Alan Blackburn, and Alex Prior during Prior's "Ride Across North America" Alan is a good man, he was generous with his time and resources during the RANE Ride, and was keenly interested in Alex's journey. We pulled up that day on several Buells, and a Triumph, Yamaha and Honda. He (and his entire staff) treated us all like family, even hustling Unibear's XB12 into the shop to see why the "check engine" light was coming on. There was no charge for services rendered. Zion Harley-Davidson rocks. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=6817&post=301285#POST301285 FB (Message edited by jerry_haughton on May 26, 2010) |

yes there are plenty of dealerships that don't care what you ride, just as long as you ride. then there are plenty others that only care that you ride only their main bike and put a lot of chrome on it. got one 5 miles down the street from me but i'll go to the one that 30 or the one that 120 miles away from me because of their attitude. |

How long till Harley sues for libel? Was there anything provably untrue in the video? I'm not sure they'd have much of a case. |

There has always been good dealers and bad dealers. Some employees try to change a dealer and are unsuccessful. I was fired from American H-D because I stood up for a friend. They along with the some of the other Metro Detroit Dealers and some Ohio dealers wanted to run BattleTrax one year. They sent me and others to Battle Master training, talked with Reg, etc... The had a meeting and invited me because they knew I had the most experience with BT and Reg. They wanted to run BT without Reg. Buy all new gear, timers, cones ETC and not pay Reg for his event. With how hard H-D and the dealers protect their name etc I told them if they proceeded I would tell Reg of their plans. They proceeded and so did I. Needless to say they went on with the event and went buh-bye! They there are dealers like above with Zion and Alex P. Appleton H-D back in the DaveS and Bueller Andy days. And quite a few others, but Wah-wandell has left a bad taste in all our moths toward H-D uppercrust that has unfortunately trickled down to everything H-D. What we forget is there are Harley riders that aren't tools. Harley riders that are fans of motorcycles. Harley riders that their riding gear consists of more than a bandanna and drug store shades. Harley riders that ride further than the bar. Harley riders that help out other riders through fund raisers. Harley riders that travel long distances for an open bar. And the list goes on. Unfortunately those riders are the 1%ers and don't stand out... |

I wonder how many HD fans open that link thinking it is something cool about their bikes. Then wow, it hit them in the face. |
