OK, one last time... have any of you boneheads been watching LOST this season? The series finale is this Sunday and will be on from 7-11:30. Much has finally been revealed and the caca is going to hit the fan. Desmond is going to play a major role as his tolerance to electromagnetic force is similar of mine to alcohol. My guess is that he will enter the cave of light that gave birth to the Smoke Monster, now that Jack has replaced Jacob as Protector of the Island. What will that accomplish? Kill Smokey? Resolve the 2004 Flash Sideways Timeline with the 2007 Original timeline? Sink the Island? It was revealed in the first episode of this season that the Island is under the ocean in the FST. Is Ben really, really a bad guy because he shot Widmore and ratted everyone out (once again)? Or has he figured out that was the only way to ultimately stop Flocke? It was too funny watching school teacher Ben get the living tar beat out of him by alternate Desmond which gave Ben a glimpse of OT Ben getting beat up by OT Desmond. What party are they going to with good luck Hurley and why is that important? Is it Jack's son recital or is it the Driveshaft party at Eleanor Widmores place? Who is Jack's wife? Will Jack heal Locke in the FST and how will that affect Flocke? Nice to see Anna Lucia after so many years. Why is it the FST Hurley recognizes her? The last time we saw Daniel Faraday was in the FST when he realized that this is all fake and that he might have already set off an atomic bomb in 1977. I think he did. Oops. Will the Dharma Initiative have any role? Is Dogen still gone? Hope to see hippy Rose and Bernard AND Vincent. I miss Vincent as he saw the sneakers of MIB disguised as Jack's dead father in the opening scene of the series back on September 22, 2004. I bet we go back there on Sunday because it was revealed that the Light is just behind the eucalyptus grove which Jack awoke in after the crash of Oceanic 815. Since this appears to be a morality play, good and evil must be in perpetual opposition. Jack has now become the Protector (white stone). Will MIB remain the black stone or who will replace him? Obama? Does ANYONE know what I am writing? All I know is that there will be no Mr. Eko. I predict "Lost: The Next Generation" in a few years. Comments welcome. | ||

Still watching. Can't imagine how it's gonna turn out, other than I'm sure I'll be pissed they didn't answer some questions I REALLY wanted answered. I tend to think Jack on the island is not going to live through the finale, and will have to be replaced by one of the other Candidates. Interesting thought about a Flocke replacement. Hmmm... | ||

I,too, was wondering about Jack. It appeared too easy for him to assume the role of Protector "for as long as he can". I think he is going down and one of the remaining candidates gets the job or, now that he is now free to obtain a new pool of candidates, someone else. Like Fobama, maybe? | ||

I am getting fat eating Apollo candy bars, drinking Dharma Initiative beer, and Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack. Maybe the end of Lost is a good thing. At least there is still "24"  Oops. That series ends next Monday. I am pretty sure Bauer is going to die because he has turned into a homicidal maniac in the past two episodes. The math: 119 episodes * 42 minutes/episode * 1 hour/60 minutes * 1 day/24 hours = 3.47 days. Ahem... you will have to skip a few episodes as the finale starts at 9PM on Sunday. Forget Nikki and Paolo. YOU CAN DO IT! Get a jar to pee in and lots of twinkies and you're good to go. | ||

City....No one is immune to getting hooked. I hooked Al Lighton, who is about the most practical humanoid on the planet just last season (right when I got hooked). He brought the entire family down with him but it turned into a real fun family thing to share. | ||

If you want to boggle your mind, then surf there to appreciate the monstrous mythology spun by Lost. -flash forward -flash backwards -flash sideways -time travel to 1954/1977/80's/90's that jump from scene to scene with no warning or clue. -glimpses into events thousands of years old. -a hydrogen bomb named Jughead. -The Dharma Initiative. -moving the island. -and of course, The Swan Station, where one has to enter the Valenzetti Equation numbers (4 8 15 16 23 42) every 108 minutes into an old 1977 CRT terminal or the world will end? I think the cut on Jack's neck in the FST might be a foreshadowing incident of his impending death in the OT. He has been picking at it ever since Oceanic 815 flew over the sunken Island. Irony? Jack heals Locke in the FST while Jack kills Unlocke in the OT? Just a few hours more and this stuff will be revealed. | ||

definitely sucked. just got done watching jimmy kimell from last night and pretty much the first thing he said was "what the hell just happened" the alternate ending's were spoof's and was pretty good but the lost ending was actually one of the worst in tv history imo. | ||

I liked Jack's eye closing to end the series and Hurley becoming the Protector with Ben as his sidekick. The whole church thing was really weird. Hurley spoke to FST Ben saying he had done a good job which means that many years had passed before Christian did the white light thingy at the door. Also Kate said that she hadn't seen Jack for a long time. Guyliner, Frank, Kate, Sawyer, Claire, and Miles escaped the Island and probably lived a long life before some of them ended up in the Church. I am not sure what y'all expected but I thought it was OK. Just weird. At least you relearned that you can always trust duct tape. So it looks like it was Suliet and Jate after all. |
