Anybody know if it's worth getting better than general admission seats? |

For practice and quals, starting this year you can go anywhere with a general admission seat, including the reserved areas so there's no gain to reserved seating there (as a reserved seat holder I'm not quite sure what I think about that). On race day I expect you'll have to get there quite early if you're picky about where you want to sit, but it's not like you won't be able to get a good view of the track somewhere. After a couple of years, I'm not sure there's a "best" place to be. It's all good. |

No Need for Spending extra Cash for Reserved Seating! Many good options for general Admision! I have set at the turn 4 section which I believe gives you a view of 5 or 6 turns right before the final straight! Heard many people commenting last year about how good the view was! Just Don't tell Everydody! |

I rode my bicycle around the track a few times. The view is best from the track. That blacktop is only about a 1/8" to a 1/4" thick. |

IMO It is worth getting a seat in SouthWest Vista or the NorthWest Vista! I have sat at the N.W. Vista for the last 2 years, this year I got the S.W.Vista so I can see them going into the corner hot and while having general admission you can watch from other seating areas to figure out what you like best. You can't go wrong, with going! I only wish they could have AMA and Moto GP mixed together, that would make a great show. |

Indy Mile is a blast at State Fair grounds dirt oval. Night before GP race in Speedway. |

Last year, Terri and I sat in the Southwest Vista. This year, we think we'd prefer to sit in Section E Penthouse. Both locations are good, but Section E will let us see a little more of the front straight. By all means, go see the Mile. If I could only see one race that weekend, I'd choose the Mile over the GP. But that's me. |
