My (sort of) nephew just finished the trip today. He left on Easter Sunday. Bought a mountain bike off craigslist for $100 and rocked it. His girlfriend went along with a chase vehicle. Before this, his longest bicycle ride was about 5 miles. Here is the link to his blog. thanks for sharing nut. years ago after i got outta the navy and even when i was in, i used to bike a lot and thought it would be so cool to do something like that but as with a lot of dreams they just don't transpire so my hats off to him. | ||
