I was between the xd .40 and the m&p .40. Both have interchangeable grip accessories but the overall feel sold me on the m&p. When all is considered, get what feels most comfortable.
This is a vid of the gun in the pic above. Its one of my dream collection guns. Its absolutely useless for a civilian owner but Damn!! I would love to have it hanging over the mantel when the daughters boyfriend comes over for the first time. Or maybe cleaning it on the porch just for fun....
I went to Vance Shooter Supplies yesterday evening and plan on purchasing a Smith & Wesson M&P9c Compact Size w/Crimson Trace Laser Grips while it is on sale and I can get two clips free. It is a 9mm with 12 rounds. I can’t remember if that is twelve plus one or 11 plus one…anyway shooting that many shots I should hit something.
Its funny that someone mentioned the "adapters needed" for the rail and such. From what I have been told, H&K has fixed that problem and went to the industry standard size for its rails. - that was a worry in my mind as well, but apparently they fixed that problem with the p2000.
I really wish I could find a range that rented all of the suggested weapons in one place!
Thanks again yall. Does anyone have an H&K personally that has feedback?
