That was hilarious . . . yep . . . that was Flick . . .his job as President.
You should have seen the folks when they contacted me about being President.
It was kind of funny because . . . . the more we talked the more they were telling me they wanted someone who could "keep a leash on Erik". The more I talked the more they understood I was telling them to themselves.
I think that was the last time Buell Distribution Corp ever seriously consider me.
Funny stuff Court! Jon, congrats on your "escape" and the very best of luck on your future endevours. I suspect we've not seen the last of you in the 2 wheeled vehicle industry. (At least I hope not!).
I have met Flick a couple of times. The first time was memorable... The second time I apologized for the first time. The third time we just talked bikes. He is a true motorcycle enthusiast and the best HD had to offer.
Aatt Blake this is off subject but you ask for some photos of my project If you will go to arcaove may 17 I have posted a short bideo for you ( sorry for the short hi jack)
I agree with the class act. I met him at March Badness and didn't realize who he was while talking to him. Even though I was on my 'cough, cough, hack, hack' Honda, he was like any other motorcyclist.
I met Flick at March Badness as well. We made sure he had a beer huggie before he left! Super nice guy and he seemed to have a great time in GA with everyone.
Best of luck to Flick! Can't wait to see what "retirement" brings!
I also met Flick at March Badness, and again at Daytona where he walked with Wolfie and I, then invited us to sit with him in the stands. Cool guy. Class act.
Good luck Jon, hope you are still with the Buell faithful in the future.
Thanks everybody for the well wishes and the kind words. I appreciate it very much. You all are great bunch of folks and it has been my pleasure to have been a part of the Buell community for the past 5+ years. All the best and ride safe!
