Moveon.org and Organizing for America, & SEIU have been twittering their minions today to go to Fox Poll and vote to ban the American flag in US schools. It appears to be having an effect, as the numbers are now, as I type, opposite what one would expect on a Fox site. Some folk are organizing a movement to flip those numbers and show the leftist what real Americans feel. GO HERE TO VOTE: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2010/05/06/american -flag-banned-america/ Thanks in advance for your help. And please ask your friends or those on other sites you visit to voice their opinion. |

Friggin' ridiculous to even consider banning the flag. Even on Cinco De Mayo! |

I posted this response on My Facebook page to see what reactions I will get from Friends who could not care less if the United States was handed over to Somali Pirates. After all, it's not like Farmville went down, or anything important. "Of course it should be banned. We should all be ashamed of America, and Her past. Our History is nothing if not filled with Hatred toward the rest of the World's people, and what exactly has the United States of America ever done for the betterment of Mankind anyway? Who's with Me. I say get rid of the Flag, and its Hatred undertones." Turning on the Computer tomorrow should be interesting.} |

i put in facebook as well, the fact that they want to do something like this for safety is absurd, unless someone is choking someone with the flag, leave it alone, what ever happened to doing the pledge of allegiance in the mornings in school, all if this is part of the problem where people are ungrateful for what they have, and they don't take pride in their work or country! |

there are people and I'm being kind to call them people when they are actually idiots, who are doing this kind of stuff just to try and piss off others. I refuse to play their game and let it upset me because that's what they really want. We all know that this is NEVER going to happen so why let it upset you to begin with? The American flag will ALWAYS be shown at every government building, US Post Office and in our public schools. End of story! |

Asinine, besides that I thought Fox news was on the "radical" right... Placed my vote for keeping the flag where it belongs. One of these seems appropriate for this thread: CycloneDon, I have to disagree with you. WE have been sitting back for too long letting the noisy minority (liberals) take away many proper and good things such as flying the flag and saying the pledge. I believe the quiet majority [of good people] here in the US need to stand up and tell the idiots it's time to sit down and shut up, they'll continue their foolishness until they are put in their proper place (which is in the corner, with some "time out" to think about how what they've done is wrong). |

This is one of the few things I'll actually get fighting mad over. I'd love to choke one of those idiots with a Mexican flag. I won't, but damn it would be satisfying. |

I cannot believe that the majority of Americans (in that survey) believe they should ban the flag in school. That just makes me sick. (Message edited by fordrox on May 22, 2010) |

it's a hypothetical question to incite more separation in this Country. A long time tactic used by the radical right in this Country. Who started this poll? Fox News. Anyone with a brain knows it's the most Republican, Right Wing "News" network on TV. What is the point of the question other than to divide this Country even more? Do some that voted "YES" actually believe it? I'm sure they do. Did more vote yes just to get a rise out of people? Absolutely. Apparently it's working. Ban the flag? What's the point? |

Rocket, The US flag (on a shirt) WAS banned on Cinco de Mayo at a school out here in Kalifornia. It was considered divisive. You sit all comfy in the Heartland but a storm is coming your way and you can't even see it. Enjoy your complacency while you still can. |

Hey Reindog. Don't assume to understand what's going on here in the midwest if you assume I don't understand what's going on there on the west coast. Anything that happens in California doesn't surprise me. Who's the Governor there and what's his political affiliation? |

I am a corn fed Southwestern Ohio boy where the sum total of Mexicanity there could be summed up by a visit to Taco Bell for gorditas. The rest of the nation usually follows Kalifornia's lead so you better pay attention. The Governator is a Kennedy which proves you haven't been paying attention. I still owe you a beverage of your choice for your excellent spewage a ways back. Carry on. |

>>>>The rest of the nation usually follows Kalifornia's lead so you better pay attention. Harley-Davidson packing up and preparing to leave Milwaukee speaks volumes. They can run . . .but they can't hide. Poor management and antiquated views of their "core customer" will follow them. Stupidity is portable. |

Well, here in the Chicago area, the Mexican and Easter European populations have exploded. (Don't just assume the Mexicans are immigrating). So my entire Family has been in Arizona for over 20 years, and I lived there for a while 20 years ago, so I guess that make me an expert too. I thought the Governator was so far up the Republican Party's a$$ it was hard to tell where they left off and he began. Leave it up to a petty, self righteous know it all such as yourself to resort to insults. In that case, I owe you a Yogi Button for your close mindedness from your conception forward. Keep up the good fight |

My Flag is on the pole in the front yard you are welcome to come take it down I however will be testing windage, elevation, range, grains, and muzzle velocity. And the round is really only slightly bigger than a bb I think its time we have ourselves another 'Civil' war. All the conditions are there. But if you havent read American history; you wouldnt see it coming. the last one was about slavery, this one will be about immigration at least that is how they will write about it. Forget the .357 mag.....something belt fed or at least 30 round magazines would be more appropriate .

Auto-fire is way over rated. While I was in basic training I watched a deer make it all the way across the firing range. There were ten trainees with M60 machine guns trying to get rounds into it (you could see the tracer rounds) while the range officer was screaming, "CEASE FIRE!" to no avail. The deer went unscathed. C'mon guys, your gun totin' bravado is silly and adds nothing but smoke, heat, and noise, but no light. Back to the subject at hand...this poll has clearly been hijacked and has no merit. It is preposterous that 58% of random individual respondents believe in banning the flag. The poll needs to prevent an IP address from voting more than once and even that safeguard can probably be circumvented. What do you IP/IT experts think? Technically, how would you enforce a single IP and how could you get around it? Now that is an interesting subject even if not motorcycle related. |

yea greg, saw the same thing up at indian town gap in pa during two weeks national guard training. they were using a 50cal though. after seeing that deer run away, i never looked at the 50 as being a long distant training tool. up close maybe. now a mini gun my be more appropriate. |

Why are these idiots so afraid of the flag and what it represents? I dont get it! .....I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all..... |
