Well, it must be true if it's on the internet.... http://www.beckleysrvs.com/about-us-our-staff.aspx I'm the goofy Binkley-from-Bloom-County looking "new guy" at the end 3 weeks into the industry, they've taken me off "training" status and as of tomorrow I'm a "salesperson" - taking ups, working on commission, and trying like hell to sell some RV's. And yes...we have toyhaulers Wish me luck!! |

I heard that cruise control in the newer RV's had white line tracking that would allow enough time for the driver to get up and hit the head for a pee and that they've also got that Volvo collision avoidance braking function with extended range just in case traffic comes to a stop while you're in the galley refilling your coffee, is that really true????? Sorry, couldn't resist, congrats on the new gig. Read up on the Daves salesmanship methods and you'll do just fine. (I'll go look at the link now) |

good luck on your new job Joe! but I don't think those will be able to do wheelie's as well as the last form or transportation you use to sell at your old gig. |

MikeJ - uhhmmmm....I think you have "cruise control" confused with "autopilot", LOL. Don - there are guys who wheelie on baggers, I'm sure I could find a way to get one of these to do it. Hell, the right travel trailer (unhooked) with me and a couple of the guys all the way in the back, I bet we could put the bumper on the ground in no time! No need to fill the email box, though. Thanks for the offer. They have a web filter that I have to end-run just to get to *manufacturer* websites, nevermind badweb and stuff that's actually *fun*. Ah well....it'll help keep me focused Will - that's good info. You just may hear from me at some point, thanks! |

Joe, congrats! a co-worker of mine was there a few weeks ago getting some service done and he was talking to one of the salesmen, he said that the last quarter was one of their biggest in sales. Seems like you'll be busy. I'm going camping next weekend btw, nice mugshot.....
