Well I have been thinking of selling one of my toys and it seems as though the car has been designated "Most Expendable" The problem is that I'm not really sure how much to ask for it. It's a 96 with 55K on the clock, yes only 55 thousand miles on her. 2" lowering kit with 18" Murano wheels, JVC stereo, Pioneer Amp, Blaupunkt speakers front/rear. I bought it 2.5 years ago with 33K on it from an 85 year old woman in the early stages of Dymentia. I absolutely love this car but I love my Jeep and Buells more so it has to go. Let me know what you think. I can also drive it to Homecoming for you if you're interested. lol

I've always loved 96-99 Maximas. This one is the third one that I've owned and is my best one yet. I'm into it for about 8 grand the way it sits. I know I'll never get that for it but am trying to figure out what I should ask. |

Can anyone tell me how to jump the soloniod in a 92' maxima? It has juice but it just clicks. (no cranking) what happened was I went to move the car and I hit a brick that was laying in the driveway, then I punched it,...it stalled. Hasn't started since. |

KBB.com, private party value. that should give you a general idea of how much its worth. |

You should be able to get between $4-5k, maybe closer to 5. Thing is, the stereo, lowering kit and wheels won't really add any value. You'd almost be better off just removing them and selling separate if you want to get the most coin. Cars are just like bikes - unless the customization is really unique, superbly well done and extensive, it just doesn't add anything. Would you pay more for a Buell with all kinds of aftermarket goodies bolted onto it, or one that sits bone stock and unmolested? I'd go for the bone stock one. |

More than likely I'm going to throw it on Ebay and see what happens. I also want to put it in the local paper. KBB & NADA say it's worth between $4200 & $5200 with the mileage. It had hubcaps on it when I bought it. I didn't want to lower it but when I slapped the rims on, there was a huge gap between the tire and the wheelwell. It didn't look good at all. My better half kept busting my balls about it so I ended up lowering it. It has a very good stance now and doesn't look Fast & Furious like, which is something I definitely didn't want. I should have just bought taller tires but hindsight is............... well you know. The stereo system really sucked, so that had to go too. |

Nicely modded Max! Big fan of the Blaupunkt/Bosch equipment. Good luck! |
