I hope this thread isn't blocked - but this is just an account of my experiences - not an endorsement per se. I'm not mentioning prices or websites on purpose so you can search by yourself - Google knows everything. I'm 6' 4" - 280 pounds - have a hard time finding CLOTHES to fit - much less leather suits. I bought a custom made two piece leather suit from Tilt Customs. The quality is much better than the price would make you think. I had my wife help me with the measurements and about 4 weeks later, I had a custom suit. I also ordered the gloves, which are freaking great. A group buy through a board sponsor might be definitely up everyone's alley if there's enough interest. Great product!!!! |

It could be that he's an 1125 rider and thought he'd share some info here because this is where he spends most of his time on badweb. I spend more time here than anywhere else. |

JUMP!!! Sorry if offended... I would just think superbikes would lend themselves to full suits... if someone wants to move it - then move it... |

Lots of good things about Spartan custom suits too. Probably where my next leather will come from, for now a textile is hopefully good enough. |

+1 Greg, I've been convinced to get Spartan suit. The shorty leathers are too "skinny" for me, I'm not big but I'm not skinny...must be the half Greek DNA. Never heard of Tilt, will check em out though. I been using an ebay suit with pants that are too big, I've got ankle sliders |

Good custom fit suits are worth the money. EVEN IF you think you are a "normal" person, it's well worth paying another $300 premium to get that on-line order cheap suit altered to fit your body. |

..."oddly shaped body". Kinda leaves this thread begging for some comical photos. I was just perusing another thread where it appears one poster has no neck. |

The Tilt and Spartan are like $500 for their custom stuff, part of the reason they are popular. Bates and AGV are still in the $1000+ range for custom. For any of the safety systems to work correctly, they must fit properly. No sense in having CE+ armor if it is flopping around and out of place when you hit the road. |

ahh the infamous gothopoatmus/ICP slave. Is it a dude or a chick??? Also add Pilot leathers, about $1000+, and much more than anything you'd need on ths street or some trackdays. |
