I am on my way to pick up a new (cable rented) HD DVR!! Too bad it wasn't in time for the shuttle launch... but I will be able to record the FLYERS making History tonight! (and Speed channel sat/sun of course) |

Could someone explain to me where Erik Buell Racing put the extra 25lbs? Is this 25lbs in one spot or all over the bike? |

I guess they didn't find any big sponsors, that's too bad. Anyone know if the number 99 was chosen or assigned, if chosen why? |

There is a specially designed weight kit to but the weight in spots that minimize the ill effect of adding weight and might even provide some help. if you have to carry it around put it where is does some good |

Anyone know if the number 99 was chosen or assigned, if chosen why? In AMA (IIRC) you get to choose your number when you sign up for AMA. The more you race, the higher you place, the more chance you have of getting the number you want. The only number that gets assigned to you is the number 1 plate, but even then you have the choice to use it out your regular number. Not sure what significance 99 has with Geoff.

>>>>There is a specially designed weight kit to but the weight in spots that minimize the ill effect of adding weight and might even provide some help. if you have to carry it around put it where is does some good Hahahaha . . . so. . . . you old codger . . you are trying to say that a keen minded young 60 year old engineer might actually "loose" some weight to allow some to place placed in just the right place? Naaaaaaaahhhhh??? Nobody is that smart.

It is the oldest trick in racing, go in under weight, then add weight back to where you can take advantage of it to balance the vehicle. Same trick as moving the battery to sit next to the driver to help balance a car. |

So which bike is Geoff riding at Infineon? The 1125RR or the 1190RR? |
