I've seen that kid when I took Superbike School last year in Jersey. He did a great job of embarrassing the hell out of a lot of "Fast Guys." Nothing like working like hell on your lines and technique only to have a little kid on a 125 blow past you like you were standing still, and taking any damned line he pleases to do so.
My friends have a pet name for him... "That Little B******." I'm pretty sure his parents are married though.
That young man is sensational, but I wonder how many of the other riders would be faster on "slower", light weight bikes.
The last time I was at Loudon, an older fellow on a Ducati 450 single was passing everything in sight. The bike probably weighed around 200 lbs.
I think that many riders would be surprised at how fast they could go on a lighter weight bike because they just corner faster: it's a matter of physics.
