I am leaving here by 10 AM, so hope to be down there by 12 NOON. I live in Madison and plant to take HWY 12 through Whitewater and avoid the super slab. I do not hit any TOLLWAY then that way, right? I have an I-PASS but did not plan on bringing it. Do you have a lunch break today? I can send you my cell number and vice versa in case the M2L takes a crap. | ||

Oh and assuming highway 12 is the same is Route 12 on this side of the Cheddar Curtain then no you will not hit a toll.  | ||

Cheddar Curtain... I ride 5 over the speed limit now... grrrrr... got some BIG A$$ speeding tickets in 2002, 2006 and 2008... my insurance went up by 30% this year... ah well... beauty day for a ride... I gotta get off of here, clean up the kitchen and head out... ttyl! | ||

there are no toll roads if you take 90 east to hwy 11 east to 43 north to 12 south. McHenry is located at hwy 120 and Chapel Hill road on the east side of McHenry. the last time I was there, they had several 1125CR's and only one used Uly. | ||

There's a route to East Troy from McHenry that is pretty sweet, but I doubt you have the time. Not much there to see I suppose either. | ||

somebody in my town just recently purchased a CR from mchenery, i dont know them i just talked to them at auto zone once. they had a black one. walter bro's in peoria illinois also has a red CR for $8500, its used but only like 5k on the odo. it looks super clean to! | ||

I just came from McHenry Buell, I don't think they have sold any since I was there last which was two weeks ago because they still had the seven 1125CR's out front and two in the back. The used Ulysses has been sold and they are all out of 1125R's. The salesman told me they still have two 1125CR's left at the Woodstock store. They also have two XB9ST and one XB12X and I think one Firebolt. I went to Ukes today in Kenosha and he has a 2010 XB12XT RED one they got from the factory used with 2700 miles on it and one 1125cr Black in the tower in front. | ||

Ok Boyz... The CR didn't fit right... as far as a motor... the thing can move, but the county sheriff knows about the dealership route you are required to follow... BUT>>> I did get a really sweet deal and they were so damn cool that I ended up over there for oh... I would say close to 5 hours... I got a ton of new Buell shwag... they gave me a flag for free... and... wait for it... drumroll please... I think it was one of the last ones left... Photos... | ||

They apparently bought about 30% of the Buells available during shut down... and the majority of the Buell demo fleet... They had over 400 bikes they bought since October 15th and they said they have sold roughly 330 so far... Really nice the GM there got a CR, but to get permission from his wife he had to buy her one too... And the sales guy took endless harassment from me with a good sense of humor... I pick up the bike next Saturday... Here is what the lot looked like when I left...  | ||
