May finished 12th for you not on the Race Board. side note, Eslick was 2nd in DSB Great ending. Eslick was fighting for first with lap traffic coming out of turn 11(i think) Pulled the front end up with ONE hand while fist pumping the lap rider.. It was AWESOME! |

#99 is Geoff's Number, thats what he prefers. The Guard requested him to ride #54 last year for the 50 states and 4 territories he would be representing. |

If anybody is wondering how Russ Wikle is doing after his lowside in DSB race 2, here is some (kinda) good news.. 6 broken ribs, a ruptured spleen, bruised liver and a partially collapsed lung. As bad as it sounds, he's doing great! Refused painkillers, talking on the phone, flirting with the nurses, etc http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?t=253899 |

Any write ups by Erik Buell Racing. what worked, what didn't, and their thoughts on the race? Riders perception? |

watched the race 2 today on Speed. I was busy but caught most of it. Did I miss it or was there NO mention of Buell, Geoff and the story? |

Nothing during either race as far as I heard. They did note that Geoff finished 10th on the Buell in race two when they were running down the top 10 after the race. No mention of Buell's closure or anything like that. |

It was very brief, but they did mention it when they showed the top ten with a "hey that's sort of cool" tone. Until Geoff is able to run with the main pack, I think that's about all we can hope for. Without Harley money and marketing people pushing, it will probably be tough to get the kind of nice story they did last year (and even with everything that's gone on, the idea of Buells in the AMA is no longer novel - that can be both a good and bad thing) . . . though it can't hurt at Road America (where there should be a lot of Buell fans) for people to corner any SpeedTV people they see and give them an enthusiastic earful. |

Think twice before cornering Scott Russell. He reeks of Aqua Velva. I actually had to back off a little when talking to him at Fontana. That stuff makes me sneeze. You've had fair warning! |
