It turns out that quite a number of these guys would rather expose themselves to another man than to a woman. When queried about their sexual orientation however they were emphatic that they were not gay.

Jaime, that's old "news," but hang onto it if it makes you feel good. (And I still don't understand how "grown-ups" have the time to watch cartoons...)

I don't consider South Park to be an art form by any stretch of the imagination; but that episode was quite entertaining. (and contained more than a kernel of truth)

Nope, not kidding. My world doesn't have time for cartoons, altho I confess I watched 'em when I was a kid.

I won't argue your "art form" contention, altho I'd need some convincing to believe that South Park fits into that category.

Fun? Riding is fun. : )

I think their stories and comments on social satire are the art in Southpark...

There is something wrong if you can't make time once in a while for Woody Wood pecker,Beaky Buzzard,Wile E. Coyote,Foghorn Leghorn and all the rest of the oldies. A friend neart 70, still loves them on youtube as well as his pre teen grand kids. They can't get over how fun they are compared to modern(spit) cartoons.

This is hilarious. The loudness of my "tailpipe" has nothing to do with the size of my penis.

Not a South Park Fan - regardless of topic - but I do like some modern ones. The Simpsons and Ren & Stimpy. Futurama occasionally too.
Robot Chicken is lame.

Art is funny - one man's view and another's may differ, yet still it may be art - though the animation art pinnacle may lay in modern Anime.

"Ya wanna write satire?"

As DD says it's a mickey taking site.

DD...if you have excessive waste gate noise...the scream of tire on tarmac should cover it nicely...if not, you need more tire ; )

Thanks.....I think?

Brother, I gots lots of child in me. What I don't have is time in my life to watch "social satire" cartoons. The maroons who produce South Park must continually be amazed that anyone watches their, um, "art."

Personally, I think it's a sad commentary that South Park is as popular as it is in this country. When did all the filthy language and portrayal of human excrement and vomit become not only acceptable, but something to talk about around the office cooler (or Internet chat room) come Monday morning?

The word "tripe" comes to mind.

In any event, glad you (and so many others) have reached a station in your life where crap like this is an integral part of your day-to-day existence.

I'm not there, nor do I want to be.

This may mean I don't have an "inner child." If so, that's a criticism I can easily live with.

Jerry, I think it means that, like me, your inner child reaches all the way to the outside.

Is watching a poorly animated cartoon show whose raison d'etre is social satire more time wasting than debating political opinions on a motorcycle forum?

"raison d'etre"? Nice, but much too fancy for the likes of South Park. : )

Crusty, the easy (and obvious) answer to your question is "Yes."

Denise and I are off to get some sheetrock for the kitchen. I'll visit your question in more detail later today.

Regards,
