Well, we're here and have recharged the batteries a little with a nap and some good strong coffee at the hands of our gracious host.
who we have now taken under our control and are currently sharpening the axes...

Do you have riding plans in the LA area while you are here? Asjborn, whats the haps? Perhaps we could light a fire under Lighton and/or Ebear and meet up.

Doing some touristy stuff today (the weather is just gorgeous here) and I believe there is a plan afoot to take a ride tomar.
I hear phones a buzzing and conversation about gear in the background.
I have committed myself to trying not to think about the time difference to home unless neccesary, as I need to adjust to sleep patterns for here. That didn't seem to be a big issue last night after a long day and a few stiff drinks though. Oh...and Asbjorn can cook up a mean barbecue platter!!! Nom!

I'm up, I'm dressed, what more do you want? Hehehe  I thjink I must have looked like a deer staring into the headlights when we got off the plane yesterday, but feeling much more human today.
Yep, weather here is beautiful, and our hosts have been incredibly welcoming and hospitable  Heading out soon to see some LA sites, and try the local cuisine too.

I'm glad to see you made it here and are enjoying the weather so far. Wait till you get over here to the muggy Midwest.
I got my cast removed Tuesday and rode Thursday (much to the wife's dismay). I was worried that I may not be out of it by Homecoming. |

JUST got back in from Fiji about 10:30 and woke up after napping (36 hours without sleep)
Gotta hit up Ozzie now... see whazzup.
Monday is a day off for us. Will be working on the racebikes when not visiting you two tourists.

Sleezy!!!That was one of the more high fallutent joints!
Ride today:
We meet at Bert's Megamall on Azusa at 10 (I know, Reindog won't show until 10:30). We'll do a ride up Azusa Cyn over to Glendora rige and Glendara mountain road. Stop for lunch at Mt. Baldy lodge.
So far, we have the following folks on the docket:
Maybe: Eweaver
Yes: Al Lighton, Ebear, Reindog
Special class: Slaughter <-- Between dyno runs, catching up on sleep)

Oh & fill in a credit card application while you're there for a free T-Shirt. (don't worry they won't process the application because your SS number doesn't exist in their database) I've done it twice already. |
