Im looking at a pair of Alpine Stars Tech 5 boots on ebay and Im wondering how true to size they run. Should I buy a size larger than I normally wear?

Boots can run narrow so if you have stompers be sure to call a place first. SIDIs are made for narrow feet. I went with TCX because of this.

Look for on line reviews at places like NewEnough.com. Some run true to size and some don't.

My wife has a pair of Alpinestars riding boots. They ran true to size. This really doesn't help you though because they aren't Tech 5s.

Try on the pair you're going to buy. Last year, when we went to Indy for the MotoGP, Terri tried on a pair of Boots and loved how they felt. We made note of the size, and after we got home, I decided to buy her a pair for Christmas. Although they were the same make, model and size, they didn't fit. We had to exchange them for a larger size.
