Take a picture, blow it up & put it at the side of the road with "Who are you?" underneath. Will the Droid do that? Be no point in me having one, it'd never understand me & I'd end up hurling it somewhere in frustration. Another post successfully typed at home with 1 finger.

Another successfully dictated post on the droid How does it read this site? And the web?? I'd end up hurling it somewhere in frustration. LOL I like the idea of a real keyboard on my phone. My gf has an LG thing thats touch screen... I like it except for the touchscreen keyboard. She gave it to me to check something online once (she was driving) and I almost thru it out the passenger window trying to type a url. The droid looks very cool. I've been drooling for a droid for a while now. The keyboard is nice. The next feature they need it a usb port so I can hook up my wireless keyboard or whatever. |

Most phones have a USB port, but it is simpler to use a Bluetooth folding keyboard. http://www.amazon.com/Stowaway-Ultra-Slim-Bluetoot h-Keyboard-Handhelds/dp/B0002OKCXE |

Droid has a micro USB port. The guy on the yellow XBS passed me too quickly for me to get the phone out and snap a picture since I'm stuck in traffic and he's whizzing by in the carpool lane. Bluetooth keyboards are cool, but when I'm driving a stickshift in heavy traffic that isn't happening. The keyboard on the Droid is nice to have, but I am finding myself using the touch screen more and more. This phone does every damn thing I ask it to, never complains and very rarely does an app "force close". Even then, I haven't lost any data. The only weird thing that's been happening is my ex-wife's name keeps disappearing out of my contact list. Nobody else, just her. Seriously... The voice input on the Droid is very good, even with the background noise. If it makes an error, I just hit the delete key once and speak it over again. |
