lets see your bike at a public phone booth. I didn't even find one last time this was the quest until it was found by someone else. BRB! |

F'n rain. If it weren't so heavy, I'd be good to go. As soon as it lets up though...unless of course someone else beats me again. |

We got pay phones few and far between, but i haven't seen a "Booth" in 10 years.

actually, what i hoping for was one of those big, red, cast iron and glass booths, with big ben in the background. but yes, FTW; a pay phone. doesn't have to be in any sort of working order. it could be someone with a cell phone who will let you use it for a fee. but they better have a cardboard sign or something... i thought that most had some sort of backing to reduce background noise or shelter if they were on a pole if not under an awning/on a building. i know that i havent used one in years, and dont presume any one uses one on a regualr basis now-a-days. |

I used to run all over town doing service work and had to call in from a pay phone after every job. I knew where they all were, which ones worked, or didn't, which ones not to use because of bums or "working ladies" bugging you. I can't place a single one now. There are still some really fancy ones in some of the old, nice hotels downtown. The only ones outside that I can think of are just a phone in a little box. You can call Mexico for $1.00 though. I couldn't think of anybody in Mexico I wanted to talk to though. I still don't know where Clark goes...........

I had to go sit in my yard swing in the dark and think. It didn't work, much. How about some carved, scratched, chiseled or etc. writing. Something old, or something nice. On a tree or a rock, or a school desk, or park bench. I posted a pic a while back in the hometown section of a very old chiseled initials from around the Civil War days. I called it graffiti, but it wasn't; it was just where somebody made his mark, so I would know he had been there before... No gang stuff, or ugly stuff, just nice. Like Billy loves Sally or initials in a heart, that sort of thing If that's too hard (I honestly can't think of anything off hand, I would have to search) we'll think of something else. Rotzaruck! |

Hi Ed! Glad to see you grab one! Your challenge sounds like an excellent one.....I know where there are a lot of these things back in my home town for some reason. |

Hi Ed! Glad to see you grab one! Yeah, it's about time! Livin' life has been about to kill me. We are approaching 2 days on this thing, it may be too complicated. I guess a lot of the places you would see something like that may not be where you can get a bike in the pic. I think even slower than I type and if I took time to sort out another one and put it on here, I'd miss that ballgame I'm about to go to. Somebody feel free to toss one out. We can leave this one hanging as a freebie when somebody happens to spot such a thing. I forgot the rules does it go back to Nilla? I'll be thinking just in case |

It's your call Ed. I was going to head over to a carving not too far from here that's bigger than Mt Rushmore, but life got in the way. Maybe Thursday I'll be able to play on the bike again, tomorrow I'm working. |

Good call Ed. Weather is crazy everywhere right now and i'm sure that played part in it! K, Nilla... your up! We will keep this one up too so if you get this challenge before Nilla's next challenge you win! Let's go back to keeping this simple too. Game goes by MUCH smother and faster. I wouldn't mind a hard challenge on Friday. That would give us the weekend to search. |

uhhhh .... ... hmmm ... okay! lets see a toy/stuffed animal and the same real living animal with your bike. i'm not gonna break it down to the same exact species/genus or whatever its called, but don't go put a stuffed red cardinal on your air box and get a pic of a blue bird. please make it apparent and obvious (Message edited by nillaice on April 28, 2010) |

a carved statue of an animal will work too. (that way you could get 2 birds with one stone .... ba-dum-bssshh!) although it would be hard to drag a statue to a live animal .... just get 'em all in the same shot |
